At this stage no Sezio product account is created through the website, no subscription or purchase is made, and no payment details are collected.
When the Sezio product opens, a separate privacy notice will cover personal data specific to using the product, such as data processed from email, calendars, file storage or other connected accounts and tools.

What we collect depends on how you use the website and how you get in touch with us.

- your work email address,
- your company,
- your industry,

Email and communication data
In connection with the emails we send you, we may process information about their sending and delivery, records of non-delivery or bounces, your subscription and unsubscribe preferences, and the limited technical information needed to keep communication secure and to operate the sending service.
Website and technical data
When you visit the website, we may process technical information such as your device and browser type, your IP address or similar network information, the time of access, the pages visited, security events and the like, so that the site works securely and properly.
This information is used to operate the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems.
Analytics data
Only if you consent to analytics cookies or similar technologies may we process the pages you visit, clicks and scrolling, device and browser information, approximate location, and similar data about how the website is used.
Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website's essential functions.
Why we use personal data
Depending on its nature, we process your personal data to:
- create and manage waitlist sign-ups;
- inform you about access to Sezio, the product's opening and related product developments;
- send product announcements and promotional emails within your current communication preferences;
- receive, assess, route and answer demo and contact requests;
- check whether the emails and notifications we send technically arrive;
- prevent duplicate, faulty or abusive sign-ups;
- protect the security, integrity and availability of the website;
- detect and fix errors and technical problems;
- measure and improve the website's performance;
- analyse how the website is used, only where the required consent has been given;
- meet our legal obligations, protect our rights and respond to legal requests where necessary.
Our forms are not designed for passwords, access keys, payment details, health information, customer data of third parties, or confidential and sensitive information about your company. Please do not send such information through the forms.
How we collect personal data and the legal grounds we rely on
We collect your personal data directly from the forms and messages you send us, and, while you use the website, through the essential technical systems and security mechanisms it runs on and, to the extent you consent, through analytics technologies.
Depending on the applicable law and the nature of the processing, personal data may be processed on one or more of the following legal grounds:
Fulfilling your request or steps prior to a contract: assessing your demo, contact or access requests and carrying out what your request requires.
Our legitimate interests: operating the website, improving our services, keeping information secure, preventing abuse, diagnosing technical problems and managing our business relationships, provided this does not disproportionately interfere with your fundamental rights and freedoms.
Your consent: using non-essential analytics technologies and, where the applicable law requires it, sending promotional and marketing communications.
Our legal obligations: record-keeping, informing competent authorities or meeting other obligations arising from the applicable law.
Where the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) applies, personal data is processed on the conditions set out in Article 5 of that law, according to the nature of the activity.
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, processing relies on the appropriate legal bases under Article 6 GDPR, such as consent, a contract or steps prior to a contract, a legal obligation or legitimate interests, according to the nature of the activity.
The waitlist and email communications
When you join the waitlist, we may send you emails about your sign-up and the process of getting access to Sezio.
Product announcements, offers, campaigns and other promotional or marketing emails are sent on the basis of your valid consent where the applicable law requires it.
Every promotional email contains an unsubscribe link that stops these messages. You can change your preference through that link or by writing to privacy@sezio.ai.
Unsubscribing from promotional emails does not automatically stop transactional, security or service messages that are directly related to your request or that must be sent by law or by the nature of the service.
With whom we may share personal data
Your personal data may be shared, only to the extent needed to provide the relevant service, with the following categories of recipients:
- hosting, data storage and cloud infrastructure providers;
- email delivery and business communication service providers;
- security, abuse prevention and automated-traffic protection providers;
- error monitoring, technical diagnostics and performance providers;
- analytics providers, only where the required consent has been given;
- professional service providers such as legal, financial or technical advisers;
- courts, regulators and other competent public authorities where the applicable law requires it.
Our service providers may process personal data only to the extent needed for the service they provide and within their contractual or legal obligations.
International data transfers
Sezio Labs Inc. is incorporated in the United States. Some of the service providers we use may be located in, or process data in, Türkiye, countries of the European Union and the United States.
Your personal data may therefore be processed in, or transferred to, a country other than the one you are in.
International transfers follow the conditions of the applicable data protection law. Where a transfer requires an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism, it takes place within those conditions.
To learn about the safeguards applied to international transfers, write to privacy@sezio.ai.
How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, as long as a valid legal ground continues, or as long as the applicable law requires it to be kept.
In general, we keep:
- waitlist records for up to 24 months from sign-up, or for a shorter period if you ask for them to be deleted;
- demo and contact requests for up to 12 months from submission;
- email preferences, consent and refusal records for as long as needed to apply your communication preferences and meet legal obligations;
- security, error and technical logs for as long as needed to keep the website secure, investigate abuse and meet legal obligations.
If a legal obligation, an ongoing dispute, an official request or a security incident requires longer retention, the relevant data is kept only for that purpose and only as long as necessary.
Backups made to protect the website's data are encrypted and kept for up to 31 days. Data deleted at your request is also removed from the backups by the end of that period at the latest, and is not restored or used in the meantime.
Retention periods for analytics and similar technologies are also explained in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
The rights you have over your personal data may vary depending on the country you are in and the applicable law.
To the extent they apply, you may have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed and access it;
- have incomplete or inaccurate personal data corrected;
- have your personal data erased or destroyed;
- have the processing of your personal data restricted;
- object to certain processing activities;
- receive your personal data in a structured, portable format where the conditions are met;
- withdraw consent for processing based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
Where KVKK applies, you also have the rights set out in Article 11 of that law: to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it has been; to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with it; to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred in Türkiye or abroad; to have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected; to have it erased or destroyed where the conditions are met; to have these actions notified to the third parties the data was transferred to; to object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
You can send requests about your rights to privacy@sezio.ai.
To confirm that a request really comes from the person concerned and to prevent personal data from being disclosed to unauthorised people, we may ask for additional information or identity verification proportionate to the request.
If your country has a competent data protection authority, you also keep the right to apply or complain to it under the applicable conditions.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data and the risks involved, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, unlawful processing, loss, alteration or disclosure.
That said, no method of transmitting data over the internet or storing it electronically can offer absolute security.
For possible security problems or security reports, write to security@sezio.ai.
Language
This Privacy Notice may be published in more than one language.
If the versions differ, the English version prevails, subject to the mandatory provisions of the applicable law.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Notice when the way we process personal data or the applicable law changes.
The effective date of the current version is shown at the top of this page. Where the law requires that significant changes be notified to the people concerned, we use an appropriate way to notify them.
