What cookies and similar technologies are

Which kinds of technologies we use
The technologies used on the Sezio website fall into the following categories.

These are used for basic functions such as running the website securely and properly, remembering your language, storing your cookie preferences and protecting the forms against abuse.
These technologies are not used for advertising or for building user profiles.
To the extent the applicable law allows, these technologies, which are necessary to provide the website or a function you expressly request, may be used without explicit consent.
Analytics technologies
They help us understand how the website is used: for example, which pages are visited, how visitors move through the pages, and which parts of the website need improving.
Analytics cookies and similar optional technologies are enabled only if you consent. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are used for this purpose.
The analytics tools used on the Sezio website are not used for ad targeting.
Security, abuse prevention and error detection technologies
We may use security and error monitoring technologies to protect the website and the forms against automated abuse, unauthorised access attempts and technical errors.
Some of these technologies work without storing cookies on your device. That a technology sets no cookie does not mean that no technical data is processed. Such processing is explained in the Privacy Notice.
Your analytics choice
On your first visit to the website, you can set your preference for the optional analytics technologies.
You can:
- accept analytics,
- decline it, or
- change your preference later.
Analytics technologies are not enabled until you consent.
Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the website's essential functions.
You can withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link on the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
When you change your preference, the Sezio website applies your new preference from then on.
Third-party service providers
To operate the website, keep it secure, detect technical errors and, only with your consent, measure how it is used, we may rely on third-party service providers.
These are mainly:
- hosting and cloud infrastructure providers,
- security and abuse prevention services,
- error monitoring services, and
- analytics providers.
These providers may operate in different countries, including Türkiye, the European Union and the United States.

Form protection
Security and verification technologies may be used to prevent automated systems from abusing the waitlist, demo and contact forms.
These technologies are used only for security and abuse prevention, and not for advertising or behavioural marketing.
Advertising and cross-site tracking
The Sezio website currently uses no cookies or advertising technologies for behavioural advertising, for building advertising profiles or for tracking visitors across websites.
If this changes in the future, we will provide the necessary information and, where the applicable law requires it, ask for your preference before the relevant technologies are enabled.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides the cookie preferences on the website, you can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Browser settings usually let you:
- view and delete existing cookies,
- block cookies from particular websites,
- limit third-party cookies, or
- block all cookies.
If you block all cookies, some preference or security functions of the website may not work as expected.
Managing cookies through your browser may also be necessary for cookies that third parties may have set on their own domains.
Retention periods
How long a cookie is kept depends on its purpose and nature.

Language
This Policy may be published in more than one language.
If the versions differ, the English version prevails; where the mandatory provisions of the country you are in require another language version to apply, those provisions remain unaffected.
