These Website Terms (the “Terms”) govern the use of the Sezio website operated by Sezio Labs Inc. and of the waitlist, demo and contact forms offered on it. Please read these Terms and our Privacy Notice before using the website.

What these Terms cover

These Terms cover only the use of the Sezio website and the waitlist, demo and contact forms on it.

These Terms are not a subscription or service agreement for the Sezio product. When the Sezio product opens, separate terms of use and any other necessary agreements for the product will be provided.

The website and the services offered on it are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that personal data of a child has been sent to us, we take the steps the applicable law requires.

Product account, subscription and purchase

At this stage no Sezio product account is created through the website, no subscription is started, and no payment or purchase is made.

Joining the waitlist or requesting a demo does not mean that:

  • you will gain access to the Sezio product,
  • access will be provided on a particular date,
  • a demo meeting will necessarily take place, or
  • a particular feature, price or service level will be offered.

Product features, integrations, pricing options, release dates and other product plans described on the website before launch may change during development.

The waitlist and communications

When you join the waitlist, you may receive Sezio's emails about the waitlist, product access, the launch, product announcements and promotions.

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time through the unsubscribe link in the email. Notices required by law or for running the service may be treated separately from this preference, to the extent applicable.

How your personal data is processed in this context is explained in the Privacy Notice.

The pre-launch offer

People who join the waitlist before launch day can get 50% off the first three months of the first paid Sezio plan they choose, under the following conditions.

  • It covers the first three billing months of your first paid plan, whichever plan you choose. Plans and prices are announced at launch.
  • One offer per person. It belongs to the email address you join with, so open your Sezio account with the same address.
  • Use it within 30 days of the email telling you access is open.
  • It can't be transferred or combined with another offer.
  • We may close or change the offer for new sign-ups at any time. If you joined while it was running, you keep the offer you saw.

Joining the waitlist is not a purchase and creates no obligation to buy any paid plan.

Permitted use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • attempt to breach the security of the website or connected systems, or to gain unauthorised access;
  • interfere with, disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the normal operation of the website;
  • send malware, harmful code or similar content;
  • use the forms for spam, fraud, impersonation or unlawful purposes;
  • use the website or its content in a way that infringes the rights of others;
  • engage in any other activity that breaches the applicable law.

Sezio Labs Inc. may take reasonable measures to protect the security of the website, its users and third parties, and to prevent abuse.

Restricted areas

Some parts of the website may be reserved for authorised people.

You may not attempt to access these areas without authorisation, to circumvent access controls, or to use another person's access rights.

Intellectual property

The Sezio name, trademarks and logos, and the website's design, software, texts, images, graphic elements and other content belong to Sezio Labs Inc. or the relevant rights holders unless stated otherwise, and are protected under the applicable intellectual property law.

You may view the website in the ordinary way for personal or non-commercial purposes.

Without the prior written permission of Sezio Labs Inc. or the relevant rights holder, you may not:

  • reproduce the website's content for commercial purposes,
  • distribute it,
  • republish it,
  • sell it,
  • license it, or
  • use it in a way that creates a misleading impression that you are connected with, partnered with or endorsed by Sezio.

Exceptions and limitations provided by law remain unaffected.

Availability and content of the website

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website up to date and available. We do not, however, guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or accessible at all times.

Information about the Sezio product on the website may reflect the development process before launch. Product features, integrations, design, availability, pricing and launch plans may change before the product is released.

Such changes do not create a contractual product or service commitment unless the change is expressly presented as a binding commitment.

Limits of liability

The website is provided as is, mainly to give information about Sezio, take waitlist sign-ups and make contact possible.

To the fullest extent the applicable law allows, Sezio Labs Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits:

  • liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law,
  • the mandatory rights of consumers, or
  • other rights that cannot be waived under the applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time when the website, our activities or legal requirements change.

The current version is published on this page together with its effective date.

Where a significant change is made to the Terms, we may use additional ways of notifying you, depending on its nature and on what the applicable law requires.

Governing law

To the extent the applicable law allows, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

This choice of law does not deprive you of the rights you have under the mandatory provisions of the country you are in or reside in, which cannot be excluded by agreement. Your mandatory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Severability

If a competent authority finds any provision of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.

The invalid or unenforceable provision is read, to the extent the applicable law allows, in line with the valid provision that comes closest to its purpose.

Language

These Terms may be published in more than one language.

If the versions differ, the English version prevails; where the mandatory provisions of the country you are in require another language version to apply, those provisions remain unaffected.
